(1979, San Diego, USA)
Dave Hill is a commercial photographer currently based in Los Angeles, California where he lives with his wife and two Siamese cats.
He is a photographer who has a tendency to use all the new possibilities for computer improvements. Her photographs are often based on countless photographs, all together to finally make a picture. He composes everything, which must mean that he is extremely organized when he does a session. His images have a very Hollywood atmosphere.
His love of photography has evolved over the years, and now it seems to have branched off at the ends of the spectrum. For one thing, he loves to make great epic digital compositions. The possibilities are endless, as are the hours spent on it. It is an obsession, really. On the other hand, he loves being outside, away from the computer, without lighting equipment, going back to the kind of photography that helped him get started, shooting on black and white film, especially portraits. He says that shooting with such limitations is very liberating.
In any case, he likes that the photographs end up telling a story to the viewer, other than simple photographs.
