Bhutan is a small kingdom located in the Himalayan mountain range, between India and China.
Its population is predominantly Buddhist and retains a strong connection with nature. Its culture is characterized by its hanging monasteries, such as the famous Taktshang or “Tiger's Nest,” and its colorful traditional festivals.
Unlike many other countries, Bhutan measures its progress not by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but by Gross National Happiness (GNH), something unique in the world.
These are my photographs of this beautiful country.
