(1959, Palermo, Italia)

Ernesto Bazan is an Italian photographer. He studied at the Visual Arts Academy of NYC (SVA) and after 4 years of working in photography magazines he entered the prestigious MAGNUN photography agency. That was only a period of his career because he later left the academy to devote himself to giving workshops and carrying out his own photographic works.
From 1992 to 2006 he lives on the island of Cuba. On that island he took thousands of photos that unraveled in his trilogy of books about Cuba called “BAZAN CUBA”, “AL CAMPO” and “ISLA” recently published.
His works tend to develop in Latin America.
